Involvement: Interior design and documentation for all rooms, procurement, and delivery of all elements.

Situated within Aucklands CBD, and positioned with a leafy outlook over Myers Park, two worlds come together harmoniously on the doorsteps of the Parkside Hotel.

Within Myers Park is a world of fauna and flora, with intermittent glimpses of manmade buildings and twinkling lights, with trees standing as resolute as pillars, lining the curving pathways, impressive marble statues standing the test of time, and ancient prehistoric trees, with their solid form and deep roots, all providing an example of strength and resiliency to an ever-changing environment.

It has been the development of these elements, which has provided the inspiration and leads the design down a path of earthy tones, organic repetition, durable materials and natural textures, which are represented in the green and neutral colour palettes of fabrics, the soft curvature of the statement headboards, beautifully grained stones throughout the vanities and benchtops, and soft timbers within panel detailing and built-in furniture. All of these elements come together harmoniously, for guests to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil stay on the edge of two worlds coming together as one.
