Involvement: Furnz Group partnered closely with the project team to design and deliver custom cabinetry for Liverton’s SmartStay self-service kiosks within the Pullman Auckland Airport lobby. Our scope focused on the seamless integration of technology into the existing interior environment, ensuring the kiosks enhanced guest flow and functionality while respecting Pullman’s refined design language.
Designed for a high-volume airport setting, the kiosks support fast, intuitive check-in and check-out, issuing room keys, processing payments, and presenting optional upgrades with ease. By reducing pressure on the front desk during peak periods, the solution enables staff to focus on personalised guest service while offering guests greater flexibility and control over their arrival experience.
The kiosk cabinetry was carefully detailed to sit naturally within the lobby’s strong cultural narrative and timber-rich palette. Clean lines, considered proportions, and durable finishes ensure the kiosks feel purpose-built and understated — enhancing the space without dominating it.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful design and well-integrated technology can support operational efficiency while maintaining a high-end, guest-focused hospitality environment
