Involvement: Furnz Group supplied the loose FF&E for The Halligan, delivering a collection of custom furniture manufactured to the project specifications in collaboration with Chroma Group Pty Ltd and Dalman Architects.
Set within Hotel Indigo Auckland, The Halligan is an intimate neighbourhood cocktail and wine bar overlooking the heritage surroundings of St Patrick’s Square. The venue brings a contemporary perspective to a setting shaped by more than a century of Auckland history.
Rich burgundy upholstery, warm timber tones, soft lighting and layered textures create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The furniture contributes to the venue’s distinctive character, balancing sculptural forms and considered detailing with the comfort required for an unhurried hospitality experience.
Our role centered on translating the specified furniture scheme into high-quality finished pieces. Working closely with Chroma Group and Dalman Architects, we coordinated materials, finishes, dimensions and production details to ensure each item remained aligned with the overall design intent.
Comfort, proportion and commercial durability were carefully considered throughout the manufacturing and supply process. The completed loose FF&E collection supports the venue’s sophisticated, atmospheric interior while meeting the practical demands of a busy hospitality environment.
The result is a cohesive and memorable setting where furniture, lighting and materiality come together to create an experience that feels polished, intimate and distinctly connected to its Auckland location.
