Auckland hosted three regattas from December 2020 to March 2021: The PRADA America’s Cup World Series and Christmas Race, the PRADA Cup, and the 36th America’s Cup Match. Thousands experienced the spectacle on land, water, and in the Race Village, with millions tuning in worldwide.

Furnz Group along with its build partner CMP interiors, was engaged by Prada to assist with the setup and supply of commercial kitchens, back of house areas, bar, front of house areas, and public facilities for the 36 America’s cup hospitality and media centre.

The location of this facility was at the end of Halsey wharf in Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour.

There was no services available on the wharf so we were required to set up our own temporary sewage and wastewater plant and work with electrical contractors with regards to adequate power and data supplies.

The temporary structures were on site of approximately 6 months where at the end of the event we were to removal all our supplied structures and make good.
