Our design, manufacture and procurement for the new Sky City Horizon Hotel in Auckland beautifully harmonises the elements of water and wind, capturing the city’s dynamic landscape. Inspired by the stunning beauty of Auckland at sunrise and sunset, where vibrant colours dance across the sky and shimmer off the sea, we’ve created a rich, organic palette that envelops the city in breathtaking hues. 

The hotel features 305 rooms, each meticulously designed to blend seamlessly with existing finishes and adhere to the Hotels Brand Standards. Moller Architects in association with Warren and Mahoney specified walnut veneer, dark natural stone, and deep navy carpet establishing a masculine foundation, while our proposed concepts introduce uplifting colours and diverse tones. This balance between masculinity and femininity creates a restful and harmonious environment, perfectly suited for all guests.

Our design extends to the public areas, including the Porte Cochere, Reception areas, Lobby Bar, Courtyard, Bar, Hearth, Restaurant, Private Dining Room, Promenade, and Transitional Spaces. Each space is carefully curated to ensure a unique yet seamless and inviting atmosphere. The Grill, led by Executive Chef Touvai Poloniati has been appointed. It features a spacious outdoor courtyard and the food offering was inspired by top quality New Zealand products by New Zealand suppliers, offering both classic favourites and exciting new dishes and drinks. 

At the Sky City Horizon Hotel, every detail has been thoughtfully  crafted to offer a unique and luxurious experience. From the custom designed joinery and elegant fixtures, furnishings and finishes, each element reflects the hotel’s distinctive character and Auckland’s natural beauty. To celebrate local talent, we commissioned New Zealand artists to create custom artwork for Horizon, paying tribute to the vibrant art scene across the country.
